RTW Trip Day #62: Beach Day at Relax Bay and Dinner at Yang Family Restaurant

Relax Bay, Koh Lanta

We spent most of today at Relax Bay, which is just a short walk from our hotel. What we love about this beach compared to more famous beaches like Long Beach, is how close the water is to the bars and restaurants. It feels very intimate.

It’s perfect for families because you can sit with a drink in the shade while the kids play nearby without feeling like they’ve wandered too far.

It's funny to realize that after all this time in Asia, we hadn’t actually had a proper beach day until now, and we are 62 days into our travels!

The sand is so soft and the bars have lots of shady places to sit under the trees.

The girls had so much fun digging in the sand, while the adults might have had a cocktail or two - Nanna I’m looking at you!

Dinner at Yang Garden Restaurant

Tonight we went out for a belated birthday meal at Yang Garden Restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic.

It’s a European style restaurant, and it was so nice to enjoy some really good food in such a beautiful setting. A perfect way to round off the day!
