How to Visit Marysville Falls in Kimberley
Start your visit to Marysville Falls by parking at the Marysville Eco Park, which is located just off Highway 95A and across the street from the path to the main falls.
The Marysville Eco Park was once a gravel pit but has since been restored into a community green space with native plants that support fish habitat and the return of Westslope Cutthroat Trout to Mark Creek.
A sculpture highlights this success, and the park’s picnic tables, washrooms, and EV charging station make it a great place to stop before or after visiting the falls.

To reach the falls, cross the road and head for the large roofed wooden bridge that is easy to spot. Strangely, there is no crosswalk directly in front of the eco park, so you need to walk about 50 metres up the street to cross safely.
From there, follow the pedestrian bridge over Mark Creek, where the trail continues as a wooden boardwalk winding alongside the creek.

The boardwalk passes a series of smaller falls before reaching shallower sections of the creek where kids can carefully climb on the rocks. Finding little spots like this can make the walk more fun for kids, and its one of our top 20 Tips to Get Kids Enjoying Hiking

The stream continues to the main viewpoint overlooking a 30-metre waterfall, which is a beautiful spot to take some photos. That's it! A nice short but sweet waterfall sighting!

What to Take With You
Food and Water – We recently bought both of our kids Camelbaks so that they can drink on the go and it has been a game changer! Bring plenty of snacks and gummy treats!
First Aid Kit – I always recommend bringing a basic first aid kit in your bag as a precaution, although you really shouldn't need it on this trail.
Bear Spray – you are very unlikely to need bear spray on this trail, providing you stick to the boardwalk.
